A thoughtful path toward feeling safer when alone
Separation anxiety can shape your schedule, relationships, work, and sense of freedom. It can also be deeply distressing for your dog.
You do not need to solve it through guesswork.
Erika provides individualized remote coaching for San Jose dog guardians and clients nationwide.
Remote training allows the work to happen in the environment where your dog is actually learning to be alone.
When leaving home no longer feels simple
Your dog may become unsettled as you prepare to leave. They may vocalize, pace, remain fixed near an exit, struggle to eat, or become distressed during even brief absences.
You may have rearranged work, errands, appointments, or social plans around making sure your dog is not left alone.
Separation anxiety is not stubbornness or manipulation. It is a distress response that deserves careful, compassionate support.
This program may be a fit when…
Why separation anxiety training works remotely
Training takes place in your dog's own environment, where absences naturally occur.
Through recorded sessions, regular communication, and live online meetings, Erika can observe patterns and adjust the plan without adding the pressure of another person entering the home.
Remote training also makes consistent support available to guardians beyond San Jose and throughout the United States.
What the initial four-week program includes
Initial consultation and live assessment
Erika begins by learning what happens when your dog is alone and what life looks like as a whole.
The consultation includes a live online assessment to establish an appropriate starting point.
Well-being and stress-reduction plan
Before asking your dog to practice absences, Erika will help identify changes that may reduce overall stress and support emotional well-being.
Customized exercise and enrichment guidance
Recommendations will reflect your dog's individual needs and your daily life.
The goal is meaningful support, not a schedule filled with constant activity.
Customized training plans five days each week
Erika creates each new plan based on what happened in the previous session.
The initial four weeks generally include approximately 20 individualized training sessions.
Regular feedback and support
You will receive guidance as training progresses, including feedback on session recordings and help responding to changes or concerns.
Weekly live check-in
Each week includes a live meeting to review progress, discuss what has been happening during and outside training, address questions, and complete a live session when appropriate.
Private training tools and resources
You will receive access to a dedicated training app for viewing daily steps and tracking progress, along with relevant resources that support life with a dog experiencing separation anxiety.
Initial Four-Week Program: $950
Additional Four-Week Programs: $800
