- Behavior
- Routines

- Photographs
- Videos
- Guardian observations
Its purpose is to organize observations, identify patterns, and support a more informed discussion.
It is not a veterinary diagnosis
Erika Liljefelt and Relax, Rover. do not provide:
- Veterinary diagnosis
- Medical examinations
- Diagnostic testing
- Prescriptions
- Medical treatment
- Physical rehabilitation
- Emergency veterinary care
A Dynamic Dog Assessment does not determine whether a dog has:
- Pain
- Injury
- Illness
- Orthopedic disease
- Neurological disease
- A specific medical condition
Only a qualified veterinarian can diagnose or treat a medical condition.
The veterinarian's role
A veterinarian is responsible for deciding:
- Whether an examination is needed
- Whether a finding is medically relevant
- Whether testing is appropriate
- Whether medication or treatment is indicated
- Whether rehabilitation is appropriate
- Whether referral to a specialist is needed
A veterinarian may reach conclusions that differ from questions or observations identified in an assessment.
The report
An assessment report is based on the information, history, photographs, and videos available at the time.
The report may:
- Summarize relevant history
- Describe observable movement or posture patterns
- Document behavioral observations
- Connect observations with images or video
- Identify topics worth discussing with a veterinarian
- Include management suggestions within Erika's professional scope
The report does not provide a medical conclusion.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate history
- Disclosing relevant health and medication information
- Recording requested media as clearly and safely as possible
- Avoiding activities that may place the dog or person at risk
- Informing Erika about significant changes
- Sharing the report with a veterinarian when appropriate
- Obtaining veterinary care
- Following veterinary recommendations
- Seeking urgent or emergency care when needed
No guaranteed finding or outcome
An assessment may not identify a clear pattern or lead to a medical finding.
Relax, Rover. does not guarantee:
- A diagnosis
- A particular veterinary response
- A change in behavior
- A change in movement
- A specific training outcome
- Resolution within a particular timeframe
Veterinary communication
The client generally receives and controls the assessment report.
Relax, Rover. may communicate directly with a veterinarian or another professional when:
- The client requests it
- The client authorizes it
- It is included in the agreed service process
- Disclosure is otherwise permitted or required
Do not imply that veterinary professionals are required to accept, review, or agree with the report.
Independent service and follow-up
The Dynamic Dog Assessment is an independent service.
Clients are not required to purchase training afterward.
Follow-up training or management support may be available when appropriate, but it does not replace veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, or care from another licensed professional.
Urgent concerns
Do not wait for a Dynamic Dog Assessment when a dog:
- Appears seriously ill
- Has experienced significant trauma
- Cannot walk or rise normally
- Is experiencing severe or sudden pain
- Has difficulty breathing
- Is collapsing
- Is showing another urgent symptom
